WASHINGTON (TNND) — President Donald Trump on Tuesday slammed Time Magazine for using a bad photo of him in their news coverage of covering the Israel-Hamas peace deal brokered by him.
“Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time,” Trump wrote on TRUTH Social early Tuesday morning. “They ‘disappeared’ my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one.”
He said that it was “really weird” that Time Magazine would select that picture.
“I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out,” the post concluded. “What are they doing, and why?”
The photo Time Magazine used is a portrait of Trump shot below his face that shows his nostrils and neck.
The cover reads, “His Triumph” regarding the negotiations between Israel and Hamas.
Hamas freed the 20 remaining hostages that were still alive Monday as part of the agreement after the Israeli military partially withdrew from Gaza.
Hundreds of Palestinian prisoners were also released by Israel.
The war started in 2023 after Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel, killing 1,200 people and taking several people hostage.
Over 65,000 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the war and a majority of the Gaza Strip has been destroyed.
