RANDOLPH, N.J. (WPVI) — Police in New Jersey are investigating after a woman says she walked out of a bar to a sexually explicit note and graphic Polaroids stuck to her windshield.
The woman, who wants to remain anonymous for her protection, says she and her cousin left the Black River Barn Restaurant in Randolph, Morris County, last Saturday.
“We thought it was a ticket…when we saw the note, we were grossed out,” she said.
She said it was even more of a shock because the note described their outfits.
“We looked around like ‘are they watching us right now?’ she said.
The woman reported the incident to Randolph Police, who confirm they are investigating. Since sharing her story online, she says three more women came forward saying it happened to them too.
Authorities say they are looking into whether possible similar incidents in nearby towns are connected.
Managers at the Black River Barn say since the reported incident, there have been safety upgrades, including extra staff who will be delegated to the parking lot. They have also added more cameras.
Until the suspect is caught, the woman says it has been sleepless nights.
“Like does he have a picture of us? Does he have my car information?” added the woman.
She says she hopes sharing her story will help others.
