By working from a pop-up newsroom on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, journalists with The Dallas Morning News will meet South Dallas community members where they are.

Over three days this week, newsroom staff will work out of The Hub, affiliated with St. Philip’s School and Community Center, with the goal of roughly 15 to 20 journalists rotating through the space.

“We are excited to work out of this space in South Dallas and hope many of you come to visit us to share your thoughts and ideas,” said Amy Hollyfield, managing editor for The News. “It’s also a great opportunity for the community to learn how we approach our work as journalists.”

The pop-up newsroom is part of The News’ ongoing effort to build trust with communities across North Texas through engagement and dialogue.
