Meghan shocks Prince Harry with ‘cruel’ demand about Beatrice, Eugenie
Prince Harry left worried about Meghan’s new plans as Beatrice, Eugenie face tough time.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to have a major clash about an important issue which has seemingly left the Duke of Sussex in a new predicament.
The Duke of Sussex, who has remained in contact with his father King Charles following their meeting in September, supported the decision the monarch had taken for the disgraced royal, Andrew – stripping the former Duke of York of his ‘prince’ styling titles and honours and begun the eviction process from Royal Lodge.
Harry holds sympathy for his cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie during this tough time. Moreover, Eugenie, who had friendship with the former Suits actress, had been especially supportive towards the Sussexes when they were ousted by the royals.
Hence, Meghan’s plan of action would have shocked Harry, according to royal expert Duncan Larcombe.
“With Meghan, there’s a divide there,” he told The Mirror. “The Jeffrey Epstein situation is hugely sensitive, especially in America, and of course Epstein, [disgraced film producer] Harvey Weinstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were photographed together at Beatrice’s 18th birthday.”
He noted that Meghan will be “very aware of the sensitivities as she’s very media conscious” which is why she “won’t want to be seen to be too sympathetic towards” Beatrice and Eugenie.
The expert suggested that the Duchess wants to keep her distance which is something that Harry would not be happy about. Although, he did note that she would not be opposed to Harry “privately supporting them, but they will be on very different pages”.
Meanwhile, Harry’s cousins also hold a “massive soft spot” for him which is why the Duke is “very concerned” for them in this period. It would be cruel of Meghan to demand something as such from her husband.
