She may have retired from tennis, but Serena Williams can never fully leave the sport behind. The 23-time Grand Slam champion shared a cool video of how she practices tennis side-by-side with her daughters Olympia, 8, and Adira, 2, and we could watch it on repeat all day.
“Generational W̶e̶a̶l̶t̶h̶ Tennis,” the former Olympian, who shares her daughters with husband Alexis Ohanian, captioned a new video on Instagram today. In the video, she’s set up closest to the camera, practicing her swing in a black jacket and leggings with a hot pink hat. The lens zooms in to show Adira, looking adorable in a light pink dress with her hair up in two ponytails, on the court right next to her mom, with Olympia in a white tennis dress on the court on the other side of Adira.
As Olympia diligently swings her racket and hits (and misses) a few balls, Adira just backs up away from her coach, seemingly not as interested in the game as her mom and sister. Later, her coach gently rolls the tennis ball on the ground to Adira, and instead of trying to catch it or hit it back with her racket, she just turns and runs to the hedge wall behind her. Why play tennis when wandering around the court is so much more fun?

Ohanian quipped in the comments, “DiDi! She doesn’t seem locked in…😂” She doesn’t — but she’s only 2, so that’s OK! “Adira is NOT serious😂😂😂” another joked.
“Love to see the littles on court with you 🙌🙌🙌” someone else wrote. One person commented, “Legacy in real time. From one generation to the next. 👑✨🎾”
Back in November, Williams posted pictures of her and Adira hanging out in their backyard court. “This is me sharing my passion for tennis with my youngest daughter,” the Wyn Beauty founder captioned a post. Adira looked so cute in a white shirt-and-shorts set with pink Crocs and a tennis racket.
