King Charles sister’s Anne steps in with crucial plans to protect monarchy’s future.
Princess Anne, a dedicated working royal and fiercely loyal to the monarch, has seemingly jumped into action as King Charles once again faces another tough period with monarchy’s reputation on the line.
King Charles’s aides reportedly had to “intervene” to “tone down” his recent statement aimed at Charles Spencer, who makes some damaging claims about him in the recently-released memoir about Princess Diana.
The Palace believes that hurling fiery comeback at Earl Spencer would only aggravate the situation but the King understood to be absolutely furious.
According to sources cited by New Idea, the Princess Royal is now in talks with the Prince and Princess of Wales so that they can all “rise above” the drama.
“Anne knows the monarchy’s only hope is Kate and William,” the insider explained. “She’s taken them under her wing and promised to help William ride through this horrible period unscathed.”
They added that the reason Prince William is able to keep a “cool head in public” is due to his no-nonsense aunt.
The sources noted that the King is in a “tight spot” and Anne believes that is a need to disengage amid the endless public dialogue about royal estrangements
“The stench surrounding the King is hard to ignore, and there are fears he won’t be able to overcome the Earl’s wild claims about his coldness,” they said noting that the King needs to “tough with Harry and Meghan while proving to the world he’s not cruel”.
