The pea-and-mint soup from the Murrays’ wedding breakfast is among the items on the new menu at Cromlix.
Andy Murray and his wife Kim celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary on Friday, and in recognition of the milestone, the Dunblane hotel that the couple has owned for nearly a decade is honoring them in a unique, special (and delicious!) way.
Two meals on the hotel’s new menu, per a new report by *Hello!*, were also served at the couple’s 2015 wedding reception, which took place at the Cromlix’s Chez Roux restaurant. The pea-and-mint soup from the Murrays’ celebration is among the dishes by executive chef Darin Campbell that guests can now sample, as well as a meal that holds greater to the former world No. 1’s broader clan: grilled Scottish asparagus, poached duck egg and hollandaise sauce.
That meal was served at the silver wedding anniversary of Murray’s maternal grandparents, Roy and Shirley Erskine, in 1982—the first event the hotel ever hosted after being converted from a family home.
The new menu also features canapes with produce from the hotel’s garden, other delicacies like rack of lamb and twice-baked souffle and, of course, Wimbledon-inspired strawberries and cream.
The Murrays have owned the Cromlix since 2013, having bought it for nearly £2 million, and last year, it underwent a complete refurbishment. In 2010, Jamie Murray also married at the property.
