A former royal aide has already made her feelings clear about one royal family member with a social media snub.
Natasha Archer, one of Princess Kate’s most trusted employees for more than a decade, is leaving her role after 15 years of service, and she’s already unfollowed one royal after taking her Instagram account public. Natasha, who is affectionately known as “Tash”, has already unfollowed the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
Whilst the strained relationship between Kate Middleton and Meghan has been known for years, especially as brothers Prince William and Prince Harry continue to feud, it appears the dislike extends to staff too.
Royal fans reportedly noticed that Archer followed Meghan Markle and the Duchess of Sussex’s As Ever brand on Instagram; however, she no longer appears to follow them.
According to PEOPLE magazine, Archer also followed Daniel Martin, Delfina Blaquier, and Heather Dorak, friends considered to be in Meghan’s inner circle, yet now appears to have unfollowed them too.
However, Archer’s page does still appear to be a fan of the Duchess of Sussex’s former Suits costars, Abigail Spencer and Sarah Rafferty, and continues to follow them.
Archer’s now public Instagram page has over 6,500 followers yet no posts. The bio reads “Luxury Consultancy” with her name in the profile icon and features a link to a website that is “coming soon,” which hints at her future plans now that she will no longer work at Kensington Palace.
Archer began working for Kate in 2010 as a personal assistant to both the Princess and her husband, Prince William. The 37-year-old served as Kate’s unofficial stylist and recently took on the role of senior private executive assistant to the Royal couple.
