As she made a surprise visit to Oxford, England on October 9 alongside the release of one of her most personal essays yet, Kate Middleton spoke amply about children and how to stay connected in an increasingly disconnected world. Talking about children is nothing new for the Princess of Wales—it is a firm cornerstone of her royal work—but, as she always does, she kept her own three kids close to her heart, both metaphorically and literally.
The future queen wore a gold Daniella Draper pendant on Thursday engraved with G, C, and L, the first initials of her three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. This necklace differs from the other Daniella Draper necklace she’s worn multiple times lately, that one with G, C, and L charms hanging from the necklace; she sported that accessory on September 4 when she visited the Natural History Museum alongside her husband Prince William and just one week later on September 11, when she visited two textile mills in support of her ongoing commitment to British fashion.
