Chief Operating Officer. The Children’s Institute. The Children’s Institute seeks a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will translate strategic vision into actionable operations, ensuring organizational and programmatic excellence, efficiency, and effectiveness. An essential member of the leadership team, the Chief Operating Officer will play a pivotal executive and accountable role in providing leadership and management of the daily program operations of The Children’s Institute. Reporting to the President and CEO, the COO drives organization-wide operational strategy, performance management, and organizational effectiveness, all in alignment with the strategy and vision set by the Board of Directors, leadership team, and the President & CEO. By providing oversight and strategic alignment of all programs in an effective, integrated process to maximize program efficiency, the COO will maintain a culture of positivity, growth, and accountability. Senior Accountant. The Dietrich Foundation (TDF) was established by William S. Dietrich II and principally funded from the proceeds of the sale of Dietrich Industries in 1996. Its principal mission is to provide ongoing and increasing financial support to selected institutions of higher education and other predefined non-profits in Western Pennsylvania. Working closely with TDF’s Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in executing the daily financial operations and accounting functions of TDF, as well as support its annual external audits and tax preparation. Education & Partnerships Associate. The Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh connects the horrors of the Holocaust and antisemitism with the injustices of today. Through education, the Holocaust Center empowers individuals to build a more civil and humane society. Offerings include exhibits in our public gallery, engaging cultural events, internationally renowned speakers, and free and affordable resources for teachers. The Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh is a program of The Tree of Life. The Education and Partnerships Associate will provide outreach and support to educators in the Western Pennsylvania region. Major Gifts Officer. The Frick. The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for managing relationships with major gift prospects determined to have the ability to make gifts at or above the $10,000 level. This position is charged with developing and implementing strategies for securing financial support from a portfolio of prospects, approximately 100-125, including identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gifts for The Frick Pittsburgh. Associate Editor. Carnegie Museum of Art. The Associate Editor is an integral member of the Design and Publishing team, working closely with the Associate Director of Design and Publishing, Junior Designer, and Studio Manager on a wide range of print and digital projects. This position is responsible for copyediting and proofreading all Carnegie Museum of Art-produced text, including but not limited to: exhibition wall text and artwork labels; exhibition brochures and gallery guides; select publications, which may include exhibition or collection catalogues; programming and event materials; curriculum materials; wayfinding and signage; marketing and press materials; email newsletters; and web content. Collaborating closely with the Curatorial, Exhibitions and Collections, Director’s Office, Development, and Marketing and Engagement teams, the Associate Editor facilitates the progress of text development from concept to writing to final production for print and digital projects.
