Piers Morgan has been a long-time critic of Meghan Markle.
Piers Morgan was never a fan of Meghan Markle, as several reports previously indicated, and he unloaded it yet again on her during his show, Uncensored.
Inviting historian Tessa Dunlop, he had a heated outburst over stripping titles of the Sussexes after she argued the royal couple’s honours shouldn’t be taken away.
“First of all, you can’t un-royal Harry,” she said. Drawing a prompt response, the host said, “You just un-royalled Andrew?”
This provocative reply set a heated tone, leading Dunlop to deliver a sharper comeback.
“Two seconds. By the way, Piers, that was really uncomfortable when you sat there Neanderthal-style, placing Harry in the same bracket as Andrew.”
“I was cringing here, and I believe – I know they’re your friends – did you cringe when he was placing Harry alongside Andrew? You can’t put them in the same… but actually, Piers did,” Dunlop added.
Morgan, in response, did acknowledge Andrew’s scandals are far worse, stating, “Actually, you can put them in this bracket, which is I’ve always made it clear that Andrew’s offences are far more egregious than anything that Harry and Meghan have done. Never said anything different, and I wouldn’t say that now.”
He continued, “I think the way he lied about his relationship with Epstein, the damage he’s done, his refusal to give evidence under oath… it’s all on a different level.”

Morgan, however, does double down on the idea that whoever in the royal family damages the monarchy should face the punishment; in the Harry and Markle case, he says, loss of titles.
“However, the commonality of it is where any of your actions dishonour and disrespect the reputation of the institution of the monarchy or the Royal Family, then actually there is now an established mechanism with the Andrew situation to remove their titles.
Disagreeing with Morgan, Dunlop set aside the host, citing polls, calling them driven by the “loudest voices”.
Instead, she praised the Sussexes for cutting ties with the royal family – a move she said made them grow.
“[Meghan] said, ‘Call me Meg’. She didn’t even demand to be introduced as duchess,” Dunlop noted.
This sent the tensions through the roof, it appeared, because Morgan contended, hitting back bluntly, “Cool, let’s call her Meg. Let’s quit the duchess, b******. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. No! I’m from Sussex, f***off!”
