It’s the gymnastic GOAT Simone Biles making headlines again. She who wants to be familiar as ‘Jonathan Owen’s wife’, oftentimes gets into jokey squabbles with her NFL husband Jonathan Owens. But at the end of the day, it’s just 9 months into their marriage and the honeymoon phase doesn’t look like it’s getting over anytime soon.
The NFL season is on and the athletic couple has already turned several heads on grounds of their adorable matching outfits and in-field PDA. The wife, who is fresh off her 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships 4 gold podium, has not wasted a single moment before cheering on her husband in-person. Now, when the Green Bay Packers are already in their second last NFL week, Biles gushed over her husband’s newest update.
Simone Biles swoons over Owens’ airport look
Owens, who stated “I always say that the men are the catch” is on a mission to prove the trolls wrong and himself right. At least, his latest story asserts it. Dressed up in a red winter co-ords with white wreaths drawn all-over, the NFL safety prepares to board the flight to show Minnesota Vikings where they belong.
But his wife Simone Biles, while bidding farewell, can’t stop obsessing over how hot her husband looks. She reshared Owens’ Instagram story with the caption with five heart-eyed emojis. Since Christmas, their bond is getting more eyes as they two hit the lunch table hours after their heartwarming Christmas update.
Digging into a cheesy bread bowl dip with nachos, the husband snapped his wife sitting across the table with the caption “Lunch Dates”. Both sporting comfortable outfits, they proved that the holidays are meant for family time and lots of love. But a while ago, no matter how many mountains she can cross for her husband, in matters of athleticism, Simone Biles doesn’t know to droop.
Biles thinks her sport is tougher
In the most decorated podcast, 2023 Back That Year Up, hosted by two of US greats, Kenan Thompson and Kevin Hart, Simone Biles appeared as a special guest. Amid the light-hearted questionnaire session, the question “who do you think is the better athlete?” caught the Olympian off guard.
But she pulled herself back up to answer, “I think we’re good at our own sports. We’ve tried to pin each other against on, like difficulty, ability and all that stuff”. But immediately after, she pulled her guard down to spill the real beans.
Not disappointing her fans, she acknowledged that gymnastics demand more adeptness than football. To solidify her statement, she said, “gymnastics harder, if he agrees or not”, to which Thompson subtly picked her side, claiming, “I know your name”.
But the duo’s arguments behind closed doors are never ending, since she aces his routines whereas Owens fails to. Nonetheless, their love knows no bounds and we’ll see more of them in 2024.
