HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – To commemorate the U.S. Navy’s 250th birthday, which falls on Oct. 13, service members will receive free entry into Pearl Harbor Historic Sites this weekend.
Saturday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Oct. 12, are designated as free pass days for U.S. Navy active-duty members, retirees, dependents, and veterans.
Passes can be used at the Battleship Missouri Memorial, Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum, self-guided interactive tours, and Pearl Harbor Virtual Reality Experience from Pacific Historic Parks.
To obtain a ticket, members must present a valid military ID at the ticket and information booth at the Pearl Harbor Visitor’s Center or in person at each site.
On both Saturday and Sunday at 3:45 p.m., the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center will present a special USS Arizona Memorial boat program. Navy military members and their dependents are welcome to assemble at the Bell Court at 3:30 p.m. The program is limited to 145 total visitors and is first-come, first-served. Military ID must be provided to participate.

The Pearl Harbor Visitor Center is open weekly 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The visitor center, two museums, and USS Arizona Memorial program are free for all visitors.
