Princess Anne’s newlywed son Peter Phillips and his bride Harriet Sperling rode in the same carriage with the Princess Royal as they arrived on the opening day of Royal Ascot as part of the Royal Precession.
Also sitting in carriage with them was Sir Ben Elliot, Queen Camilla’s nephew.

King Charles and senior British royals gathered at a village in south-west England on June 6 to celebrate the wedding of Peter Phillips, to nurse Harriet Sperling.
Anne was joined by her husband, Timothy Laurence, at the private ceremony at All Saints Church in Kemble, near Cirencester, by her brother Charles and Queen Camilla, as well as other senior royals including Charles’ son and heir, Prince William, and his wife Kate.
King Charles and Queen Camilla led the Royal Procession on the first day of Royal Ascot which sees top horses from around the world compete over five days in races worth up to a million pounds.
