Pressure has mounted on King Charles for taking action against the York family.
Prince William and Queen Camilla have apparently joined hands against former Duke of York Andrew, his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and their daughters Princess Eugenie and Beatrice.
According to a report by the Daily Mail, Queen Camilla and the Prince of Wales are leading ‘anti-York faction’ as pressure mounts on King Charles to ‘lance the boil’ and exclude the York sisters from royal line of succession.
The publication quoted royal expert Phil Dampier as saying that Camilla, who was once a very close friend of Sarah Ferguson, is said to have been ‘instrumental’ in pushing the monarch to act to punish Andrew in the wake of the Epstein scandal.
The expert said, “Relations between the Yorks and the rest of the royals are at an all-time low.
“If moves are being made to take Andrew out of the line of succession there must be a possibility that Beatrice and Eugenie, as well as their children, will also be taken out, lancing the boil once and for all.”
Meanwhile, the insider has also made similar claims saying the future king and Camilla are pushing Charles for “clearer action to distance the institution from the entire York branch of the family”.
“The King is still very fond of Beatrice and Eugenie though,’ the source continued.
The fresh claims came a week after palace, on behalf of King Charles, announced Princess Eugenie is expecting her third baby, and the monarch is delighted over the news.
