The “Jumanji” universe is leveling up with a new player entering the game!
Brittany O’Grady is joining the star-studded cast of the latest ‘Jumanji’ movie, which Sony announced will begin production in early November in Los Angeles. The actress starred in the first season of HBO’s “The White Lotus,” opposite Nicole Mossbacher (Connie Britton) and her family on a luxury Hawaiian getaway gone wrong.
Following the big news, O’Grady, 29, took to her Instagram stories on Saturday, Oct. 11, writing, “so grateful and excited to join.”
Burn Gorman, known for his roles in films like “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes,” is another fresh addition to the lineup. Details for Gorman, 51, and O’Grady’s characters were not revealed.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan are all set to return for more adventure in the franchise’s jungle-themed feature, once again directed by Jake Kasdan.
We’ve also learned that Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser’Darius Blain, and Morgan Turner — who played the “in-real-life” characters in the 2017 — are expected to return, as is Awkwafina, who appeared in 2019’s “Jumanji: The Next Level.”
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but it is confirmed that Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg wrote the script, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The “Jumanji” sequel swings into theaters Dec. 11, 2026.
