Prince William and Princess Catherine made no public comment on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s reported UK return as they joined King Charles and Queen Camilla at Balmoral with their children on Thursday.
The Prince and Princess of Wales kicked of their visit to the royal family’s Scottish residence, accompanied by Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, eight.
The couple’s outing comes in the wake of news that the Sussexes are set to return to the UK – six years after “Megxit” and their move to the US.
The Wlaeses traditionally visit Balmoral for a stay each summer, though it’s not known how long they will be in residence there.
The family typically enjoys outdoor pursuits at the Aberdeenshire retreat, where they take a break from the spotlight after a busy year of engagements.
