Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams says “I would consider their marriage a success”.
The royal experts have reflected on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s relationship amid rumours of marital woes as the couple marked 8th wedding anniversary today.
Meghan took to social media and shared stunning photos from her wedding day with Harry to mark the big day.
Royal expert Rafe Heydel-Mankoo told The People’s Channel, per the GB News, that Prince Harry and Meghan are happy with their life in California.
Speaking particularly about Harry, the expert said, “As I’ve often said, he knows really how to be a prince or a polo player or a soldier – none of which are of much use in California.
“But of course, that doesn’t speak to the issue of whether he’s happy with his family life, and he does seem to be in a strong marriage.”
He went on to say Meghan and Harry are “resilient,” that media scrutiny has “strengthened their bond,” and they remain “personally united”.
The royal couple’s connection and their love, the expert says are unquestionable. But, for Harry, the cost has been monumental – perhaps Meghan stood to gain more from the outset.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams also reflected on Meghan and Harry’s marriage, saying “Whatever I might think about their activities, which is totally separate, I would consider their marriage a success.”
He tells the publication, “As far as I know, [their marriage] is very close, and of course they have two children.”
