How rich are Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi really?
Both, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are working women who receive no royal income due to their status as non-working royals, however, up until their parents started meeting massive backlash as a result of their connections to a child sex offender, the girls enjoyed a very publicly close relationship with the senior members.
However, now a question has come in, and it points to the princesses’ private jobs. For those unversed, Princess Beatrice is Vice President at Afiniti & Founder of BY-EQ Princess Eugenie is a Director at Hauser & Wirth.
The Mail’s Charlotte Griffiths sat down to discuss the possibility of this and got candid right off the bat by pealing back layers.
According to her where Bea’s husband is concerned, “Edo isn’t actually rich or aristocratic. People think he is because technically he’s a count, but when he first met Beatrice he was quite broke.”
“His fiancée at the time, Dara Huang, had all the cash flow from her work as an architect for luxury hotels,” she explained.
“As for his Italian family, they barely know him and he has no claim to the crumbling family palazzo,” she also explained.
“Still, Edo is a proud man and he has expensive taste. He loves finely made leather, he buys Gucci loafers and Hermes handbags for Bea, and he has a big mortgage on their £3million Oxfordshire country house. He is dead set on making his interiors company Banda a success and I’m sure he’s keen to distance his work from the messy business of his father-in-law Andrew.”
She also referenced Princess Eugenie’s husband too, but ended by calling him a “a good guy who is deserving of the opportunities he comes across.”
According to MS Griffiths “Jack is not wealthy at all. He was a barman for years, then a restaurant manager and eventually worked for George Clooney’s tequila brand as a rep.”
“But he struggled to manage with the booze culture that inevitably comes with working to promote an alcohol brand and so I imagine he’s much happier now working for a golf resort villa company in Portugal. I have no doubt that the connections he’s made through building a life with Eugenie have helped him in his career, but he is widely known as a good guy who is deserving of the opportunities he comes across.”
